NOTIFICATION

Artists accepted for the exhibition will be notified via email by December 8th, 2008. Accepted work must be received by December 19th, 2008.

SHIPPING

The artist is responsible for shipping and insurance for artwork sent to and from the UICB. All work must be shipped in sturdy, reusable packing. Include a return address label, return postage and insurance, and clearly mark box and packing materials with your name. Each piece must be labeled/wrapped with Artist’s name and title of piece clearly visible.

AGREEMENT

By submitting artwork, the artist agrees that images of selected artwork can be used to promote the show including publicity, catalogs and web site promotions. Copyright credit will be given to the artist. While in possession of the gallery, work will be insured for 50% of retail value up to $1500.00 ($3000.00 retail value).

The gallery will pay 50% of the retail price in case of theft, damage or loss while in possession of the gallery up to $1500.00 ($3000.00 retail value).

The gallery is not responsible for damage resulting from poor workmanship, defects or lack of quality control by the artist. The artist is responsible for shipping and insurance to and from the UI Center for the Book. Include pre-paid postage when sending work. Upon delivery of each piece subject to this Agreement, Artist and Gallery shall execute a written Consignment Sheet documenting the work and the price at which the Gallery is authorized to sell the work. Artist shall receive 50% of the sales price for such work.

Submission of entry constitutes agreement to all conditions in this Call for Entries.
